Observation #2

Date: May 8th 2008

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Mike Yokel Park

Wind: Not Much

Soil: Kind of Moist due to rain

Weather: Cloudy but still warm and just a little bit of rain

My area has sort of changed in appearance but not quite. There is more green grass than there was before. There's no fruit in sight as of right now. There is absolutely no insects or animals right now probably because of the weather. There were a couple of changes since the last time i came there was definitely more green grass. The creek is still really dry there is dirt on the bottom and you can see rocks at the bottom. The trees are still really dry there are lots or branches but they don't have any leaves or flowers on them. Hopefully the amount of water in the creek will rise or it will at least have some water.

Great hypotheses formed regarding what will happen to the creek over time as well as why you think there is a lack of animal life thus far in your observations. As you continute your observations let's try to make some positive identifications of both plant and animal species. In addition, to add depth to you observations tie them to some of the ecological concepts. Also, be sure to write in formal language, using capitalization and propper grammar throughout.
